I’m Nicole Calabrese - digital media and content strategist.

If you had told my high school self that a personality test would shape my future, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.

I was sitting in class, answering a bunch of questions about my interests, strengths, and work style, and the results suggested I’d thrive in the advertising industry. Turns out that’s exactly what happened.

I’ve always been curious about what makes people tick, why we’re drawn to certain brands, why some ads stick with us, and why others leave our minds the second after we see them.

The more I learn about the industry, the more I see it as a creative outlet with the ability to have a real-world impact. Advertising is understanding people and giving them what they want...sometimes before they even know they want it.

My curiosities led me to earn my BA in Advertising and Integrated Communications from Quinnipiac University (summa cum laude), where I fell in love with courses in branding, consumer behavior, digital marketing, and visual storytelling.

During my time as an undergraduate student I earned an award for Outstanding Achievement in Advertising and Integrated Communications and the Advertising and Integrated Communications Leadership Award.

Additionally, I have obtained my MS in Interactive Media and Communications to further my skills.

I’ve had the chance to work with brands like Athletic Brewing Company, House of Funk, and MYZE, contributing to campaigns that span social media strategy, influencer outreach, and content creation.

Advertising may have started as a suggestion from a high school quiz, but today it’s my purpose, my passion, and the career I’ve chosen to grow in every day.
